Job Description
- Responsible for all aspects related to payroll processing, on a semi-monthly payroll for various Canadian locations.
- Audit payroll processing reports for accuracy and correct any errors.
- Prepare and process annual vacation and bonus payments.
- Coordinate year-end requirements.
- Responsible for providing monthly payroll reports.
- First point of contact for associate issues related to payroll and benefits.
- Assist HR with programs, policies, and procedures.
- Assist HR in coordinating training and development, including the scheduling and tracking of internal/external training.
- Provide assistance to the HR team, including support for recruitment, selection, on boarding, exits, training, and filing.
- Responsible for the creation and completion of all associate checklists, to ensure all necessary documentation is in place and all the appropriate steps are taken.
- Assist the HR team with administrative duties .
Qualifications
Diploma in Human Resources/Business Administration. Certification with the Canadian Payroll Association with a PA designation is an asset. Experience with ADP’s Pay@Work and ezLabor systems is preferred.
Additional Information
Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration. Knowledge of British Columbia and Ontario legislation is a definite asset. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Effective planning, organization, and administrative skills. Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of professionalism.
