The Transition Consultant supports newly hired experienced advisors and their teams by transitioning their book of business and providing support and training during the transition period. This position supports these WFA business channels: Private Client Group [PCG], WBS, Wells Fargo Financial Network and First Clearing. Responsibilities include providing transition support including account opening, paperwork processing and followup, transition tracking and monitoring, issue identification, escalation and resolution, and training brokerage office staff on operational policies, procedures, and computer systems. The Transition Consultant will support efforts of the new advisor teams and offices, providing industry assistance and operations guidance to all levels of brokerage industry associates, preparing training agendas prior to on or off-site training and preparing post-transition training evaluation reports. Transition Consultants will also prepare and deliver scheduled and ad hoc training to our business channels. Duties also include maintaining training materials and process documents, remaining current on all system upgrades and policy/procedure updates, and completing all reports in a timely manner. These duties are not all inclusive, as other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

West Coast location preferred but open to all locations

Salary range is determined by the location of the job

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
Nevada: Min: $50,600 Mid: $70,300 Max: $90,000

Colorado: Min: $50,600 Mid: $70,300 Max: $90,000


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of financial services industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project support, project team participation, line-of-business support, or project management


Desired Qualifications

  • Cross channel knowledge
  • Ability to articulate professionally
  • Excellent coaching, training, motivating, presentation, planning and organizational skills remotely and in onsite sales locations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and clients
  • Smart Station and BETA knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • FINRA registration including Series 7 and 63 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills


Job Expectations

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
