DescriptionDESCRIPTION:
The Inventory Deployment Analyst develops and executes various analyses to support international store initiatives, inform demand forecasting and inventory deployment strategies, and influence business partners. Associate will strategically assess the business’ demand and inventory position across the Victoria’s Secret Lingerie (VSL) business with the intent of aligning financial and operational plans. In addition, the analyst will champion approaches to unlock incremental opportunities at the store/size level within market geographies/stores. This position covers the entire product lifecycle: pre-season, in-season and post-season.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support deployment of all VSL product for Victoria’s Secret Beauty Lingerie (VSBL) format stores across multiple markets and supply chain models
- Partner closely with Merchant and Merchandise Planning and Allocation (MP&A) teams on VSBL assortment, providing insight into risks/opportunities with inventory that could require changes to strategy, adapt future deployments to reflect new learnings
- Act as a business owner and provide in depth analysis on store performance, size selling performance, productivity to aid in decision making to optimize sales and inventory
- Track and analyze the performance of sales and inventory in each store, complete weekly deployment reaction and incorporate data into future assortment initial deployments
- Analyze and identify international distortions by Region around the world to determine best support deployment decisions
- Review sales analysis by country, feedback from franchise partners & weekly merchandise reports to ensure best possible in region inventory
- Support pilot of Travel Retail VSBL location by ensuring inventory is secured, tracked and transferred through Supply chain to support opening
- Support tracking and reporting of International unique purchase orders, track inbound to Distribution Centers (DC) and ensure domestic MP&A team is aware order is intended for INTL markets
- Execute deployments of International unique purchase orders, ensuring alignment with Manager on strategy, size breaks, UPAS, mins/maxes, etc
QualificationsEXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory deployment and or demand forecasting.
- High level of technical proficiency using Microsoft Excel. Experience with Access and Powerpoint is a plus. Some level of proficiency with MSI (Microstrategy), SAP, and JDA is helpful.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, statistical/quantitative analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- High level of flexibility and curiosity as process will continuously evolve to support changing business needs
- Ability to multi task, while working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to teamwork among associates
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
