About the Team At Fanatics, our Business Affairs & Legal team plays an integral role into why we are the #1 licensed sports, omni-channel retailer. This team is known for negotiating and drafting long-term, exclusive deals with professional sports teams, universities, event promoters, and athletes. They are trusted advisors in counseling our business teams with day-to-day matters as well as key strategic initiatives. This division is critical to the success of the overall company strategy and our mission to become the #1 Fan Brand in the world. Overview A standalone subsidiary of Fanatics, Inc., Fanatics Licensing Management (FLM) serves a varied role for its clients, ranging from providing traditional agency services (e.g., brokering deals with third party licensees, overseeing brand protection and brand management, etc.) to managing the sub-licensing rights as a Master Licensee on behalf of professional sports properties and college clients. The portfolio currently includes: · Professional Properties: NFL Players Association, Major League Soccer, Hockey Canada, Big 3; and · College: University of Georgia, University of Kentucky, University of Miami, University of Notre Dame, University of Oregon and the University of Wisconsin Role Description The Licensing Coordinator will be a member of the Fanatics Licensing Management team supporting day-to-day servicing of strategic business partners, designated licensees, and new business initiatives.

Professional Responsibilities:

    • Be a part of the Fanatics Licensing Management Professional team to create a positive partner experience for existing and prospective licensees
    • Master FLM’s licensee management database (BrandComply) to conduct all business transactions between FLM, its clients, and licensees.
    • Master FLM’s internal data system DOMO in all aspects and be able to run data reports and conduct analyses within DOMO.
    • Act as a resource for licensees on the BrandComply system, including creating and distributing educational materials for licensees on the royalty reporting and artwork submission requirements and procedures and answering licensee questions on the system.
    • Work with the FLM team to support a variety of projects including evaluating and processing licensing applications, contract renewals, contract terminations/expirations, notifications to licensees, contract compliance, royalty reporting and payments, forecasting, and system updates.
    • Liaise with Marketing/Partner Solutions team for licensee activations.
    • Liaise with Legal for contract process and contract facilitation including generating deal memos, long form agreements, and contract amendments.
    • Liaise with Finance to ensure accurate royalty reporting and payments.
    • Research key industry reports and newsletters to support new business leads.
    • Manage budget planning/tracking worksheets & monitor quarterly licensee royalty/sales performance.
    • Support FLM’s legal efforts in addressing trademark-related matters including marketplace enforcement actions and contract compliance matters including frequent issuance of standard take-down notices to web sites and cease and desist notifications.
    • Creation of quarterly business review presentations for partners with key insights and analytics of the business.
    • Support new business opportunities (i.e., learning/research, prospecting, evaluation).
    • Analysis of licensed sports apparel, merchandise and memorabilia marketplace.

Collegiate Responsibilities:

    • Be a part of the Fanatics Licensing Management College team to help create a positive and productive customer experience for existing and prospective licensees.
    • Mastering Fanatics Licensing Management’s proprietary licensee management database (CAMPUS) to conduct all business transactions between FLM, its clients, and licensees.
    • Work with the Licensing Operations team to support a variety of prioritized projects including contract terminations/expirations, notifications to licensees, contract compliance, hot market programs, system updates, policy change notifications, and other operations-related projects.
    • Accurately record and update trademark actions within FLM’s CAMPUS database system to ensure timely visibility for teammates and FLM clients.
    • Help ensure accurate data in the CAMPUS system through period review and data updates.

Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2+ years work experience (experience in licensing industry preferred)
    • A motivated self-starter with ability to excel at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel
    • Exceptional attention to detail
