And that's where you come in: At Instructure, our Project Consultants (PC) provide detailed project management and technical implementation guidance, in collaboration with team members from customers and other Instructure departments, to ensure new customers are set up to succeed with Canvas products. The ideal candidate is effective in managing projects and people, and is passionate about delivering the best customer experience possible.

What you will be doing:

• Assume the role of a customer’s trusted advisor regarding the implementation process and its best practices.
• Oversee successful delivery of cohort-based and PC-led implementations.
• Coordinate efforts and communication across internal resources, and ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Take control of a project from beginning to end, ensuring that the initiatives and goals are strategically aligned, the project has stakeholder support, and everyone is on the same page.
• Be responsible for all key Project Management deliverables including but not limited to Project Scope Definition; Project Documentation, Reporting; Issues/Risks Management; and Stakeholder Management.
• Track and manage milestones and tasks in SalesForce to recognise revenue.
• Report and escalate potential risks or issues to management as needed.
• Contribute to internal continuous improvement discussions by documenting, analysing and sharing project feedback throughout assignments.
• Working with customers across APAC, and internal teams all over the world. Travel and out of hours work may be required.

Here is what you will need to know/have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field.
• PMI/PRINCE2 certification.
• 3+ years of experience with project management in an enterprise software environment (preferably SaaS).
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects across multiple products (often concurrently).
• Impeccable attention to detail with excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills, both with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with remote/distributed teams.
• Proven ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team-based environment.

Ideally, you’ll also know/have:

• ITIL certification
• Knowledge of education technology industry
• Project management experience in Australia, New Zealand or Asia
