Who You'll Work With
You will be based in our Waltham office as part of McKinsey's Technology & Digital (T&D) organization. You will be a core member of both the product management function and the external engagement group. Our external engagement group is responsible for designing, developing and implementing many of the firm’s externally-facing digital publishing and communications platforms. This includes managing platforms like McKinsey.com, the McKinsey Insights app, the alumni site and programs around analytics, test & learn and audience development (e.g. SEO, Email, Social). You will work closely in a team (squad) focusing on audience insights and analytics alongside experts in various disciplines - data engineers, data scientist, data analyst, designers, developers, more - and together the squad relentlessly strives to deliver outcomes that matter to people. You and your squad will work together to discover opportunities, experiment, test and learn, and deliver solutions using our own mix of methodologies, including design thinking to help us understand users needs and problems, lean methodologies to experiment fast and learn a lot, and agile approaches to reduce uncertainty by working in short development cycles and pausing to reflect and adapt.What You'll Do
You will play a co-lead role on the squad in setting a shared vision, understanding value and prioritizing work with the focus on audience insights and analytics. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the various platforms/products the external engagement group supports, our target audiences (e.g. clients, potential clients, job candidates, etc.) and in partnership with key stakeholders and your squad, set an ambitious and clear analytics and objectives.You will co-lead a team of analysts and data engineers to capture web analytics and other relevant data in our cloud data lake and disseminate key business metrics via automated dashboards and visualizations to the function’s major stakeholders .You will also co-lead the team to perform ad hoc analyses and deep-dives of website and trends to produce actionable insights for stakeholders in order to help inform product, content and outreach strategy.You will leverage the latest analytics tools and technologies to promote self-serve reporting and manage external agency to implement web analytics tracking on mckinsey.com and Alumni Center websites and the McKinsey Insights App. #LI-DNIQualifications
