Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Wells Fargo recently announced their intent to sell the Corporate Trust Services (CTS) business to Computershare, a global specialized financial services company. The sale was announced in late March 2021 and is expected to close in the second half of 2021. We are continuing to recruit for all open positions supporting CTS, but want to ensure you are aware that this position, along with around 2000 others, will transfer to Computershare when the sale closes. If you begin working at Wells Fargo, you will receive a job offer from Computershare with similar employment terms and conditions following your Wells Fargo start date, subject to the pre-employment screening practices of Computershare.

This position is within Corporate Trust Services (CTS).

On a monthly basis, the Securities Adm Svcs Analyst 2 will perform the primary responsibilities of the SAS Custody team which includes:

Administer complex custody accounts that hold several different asset types
- Reconcile incoming payments on the assets held in our account
- Help to facilitate the settlement of bond and loan trades
- Process wire disbursements per client direction and in accordance with internal procedures
- Provide technical expertise related to the different facets of custody accounts, including trade settlements, wire disbursements, reconciliations, FX, etc.
- Ensure all analytical or operational functions required for assigned accounts are performed completely and timely in accordance with department procedures
- Be involved in risk related projects, issues and mitigation
- Research and interpret legal documents such as Custodial Agreements or other related governing documents as issues arise
- Perform all miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned or required in a timely and efficient manner; participate actively in process or system related projects, including assisting our systems support group with design, programming, analysis, testing, and implementation aspects
- Assist with set up and onboarding of new deals
- Complete special projects as needed/assigned in a timely and efficient manner

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial service, accounting, or analytical analysis; or a BS/BA degree or higher; or 2+ years of military experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong math skills
  • Customer service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Legal Document experience
  • Bloomberg experience
  • Experience with Structured Products
