Software Engineer Intern

Job Description

OVERVIEW NIO USA Inc. is currently seeking an IT Internship to join our small but fast-growing team. You will be working as part of web application development team and service operations team in our Digital Development department. Okay to work remotely in the States.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the architecture and engineering teams
• Work with product managers, designers, and web development engineers
• Performing data analysis, developing metrics, and setting up dashboards
• You must be a problem solver, a fast learner, comfortable wearing multiple hats, improving team working processes, code quality, tool and technology adoption

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Solid understanding in building micro services and using web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON)
• Experience with Python, HTML5, Java, JavaScript
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Proficient in Excel data analysis and pivot tables
• Experience building responsive, modular CSS with SASS that plays well across multiple browsers, platforms and devices including smartphones and tablets
• Experience in LAMP development environment using Terminal, SSH, and Bash a plus
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with modern Agile development methodologies, Test Driven Development
• Having worked with team, and good interpersonal skills, written and verbal English skills
• Ability to work collaborative, independently, and remotely
