The Learning & Development Early Careers Program Manager owns the development of a coordinated 2-3-year global development program for BlackRock Analysts, including developing role specific learning and ongoing engagement. The Early Careers Program Manager builds a feeling of inclusion and connectivity across all our analysts, helping to embed and instill the One BlackRock culture, improving the Analysts’ global approach, and working to generate a strong bond to BlackRock. We seek an Associate who will bring their collective experiences and ideas to help evolve and grow the program for future impact. Compared to many big companies, our team enjoys more freedom to provide input, make decisions, and express their perspective. One of the most exciting aspects of this role is the opportunity to build relationships inside and outside of Learning & Development as it requires the Associate to build a broad and diverse network across the firm. This role works closely with colleagues in APAC and EMEA to ensure our efforts are aligned and standard methodologies are shared across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a program coordinator for Early Careers multi-year program with responsibility for the global analyst orientation experience and ongoing development for early career employees.
  • Coordinate with global colleagues in and speakers in AMRS, EMEA and APAC to execute a two-week orientation program for incoming analysts
  • Evaluate and analyze program data to communicate impact to key partners
  • Develop communications and materials for stakeholders and employees to market the program
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts and Senior Leaders to design, develop, and support the delivery of customized business/role development tracks
  • Serve as a culture carrier, representing the Firm to the early careers population
  • Partner closely with global colleagues to ensure high quality program experience for analysts before, during and after orientation
  • Develop content and review materials to ensure instructional design integrity and consistency across the Early Career Program.
  • The ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, GA, will be full-time and will operate at the Associate level at BlackRock.

Skills & Qualifications

  • BS/BA and 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with virtual learning platforms and crafting with eLearning
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills – ability to interpret data/information in Excel and build high quality PowerPoint presentations a must
  • Ability to interact expertly with project team and senior stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven track record to multi-task, prioritize challenging demands, and work in a fast-paced, changing, global environment
  • Strong teammate with experience working in virtual team
  • Quick learner, self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Able to navigate through ambiguity; flexible and adaptable to change
  • Instructional design/learning design experience
  • Financial services/asset management experience a plus
