You will have experience and passion for designing women’s footwear for a high fashion retailer and be willing to bring with you your excellent drawing skills and practical knowledge of shoe design in order to support our designers.

Key duties will include:

You will be responsible for assisting in the development of customer and market focused product collections each season that are in line with the company strategy for the Carvela brand. You will be researching trends, new materials, trims, colour palettes and designing new products incorporating your original ideas. You will be working closely with the buying team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements

We are looking for:

• Someone with at least 2 years’ experience, already working as an assistant designer for a high fashion retailer
• Be able to produce original ideas based on upcoming trends
• Be able to work without supervision but be part of a team
• Have a strong understanding of the Carvela brand our collections and customer
• It is essential the right person has a high level of skills in: hand sketching, technical specs, Photoshop & Illustrator, research, communication.
