What you’ll do in this role: You will play a key role in recruiting efforts for our India office. - Partner with Hiring Managers and work closely with internal stakeholders to establish and/or design a tailored recruiting approach for open requisitions. - Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following activities: - Manage interview scheduling and logistics with candidates and hiring managers. - Thorough and efficient capturing of candidate information, and documenting within Viasat’s ATS - Provide recruitment status metrics to all pertinent, stakeholders regularly. - Assist in University recruiting efforts whenever required for Viasat India. - Research target companies to identify prospective candidates for active and future roles through channels such as online directories, network platforms, career events etc. - Build relationships with the wider Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams.
Required Skills: - 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Technical/IT Recruiter. - Resourceful, creative, and a go getter at heart. - Expert level of knowledge in full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, relationship management. - Ability to source for candidates across levels, functions, and business units. - Process oriented with a keen interest in current, trending, new recruiting trends and platforms. - Ability to work with remote teams and collaborate effectively. - Passion for Diversity sourcing. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Applicant tracking systems (ATSs) and HR databases. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Ability to travel up to 10%
