The Role

To help us accomplish that mission, we’re seeking a Marketing Specialist focused on creating great experiences that connect diners to restaurants. This position is based in our San Francisco HQ.

We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented marketing professional to support the team. This person will be responsible for running and scaling our national restaurant week program. Working closely with product, this role offers the opportunity to drive the go to market strategy for our Restaurant Week program - bringing together thousands of diners and restaurants annually. The right person for this role is a team player, very organized and is excited about the restaurant industry!

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide the Restaurant Week program strategy and execution in the US and Canada with clear product positioning, naming and launch strategies aligned with Company goals and product vision.
• Own selection, maintaining and building relationships with all Restaurant Week partners (Restaurant Associations, Travel Associations, Marketing Agencies, etc.).
• Own Restaurant Week performance analysis, restaurant comms, collection of digital marketing assets, maintenance of event calendar. Assist with preparation and presentation of post-event recaps both internally and externally.
• Work closely with the product team to scale the current program and drive adoption and awareness for OpenTable restaurant products and features.
• Work closely with the field on local restaurant weeks - owning communications, building case studies and reporting related to Restaurant Weeks.
• Oversee contracts, payments and approvals process for vendors.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required
• 2+ years of work experience in marketing at a tech company.
• Efficient, highly productive multitasker; self-motivated and flexible; thrives in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment
• Comfort with data, numbers, and trend analysis
• Detail oriented
• Experience working with brand, design, or creative teams a plus
• Photoshop skills a plus
• Passion for food/dining a must; experience with the restaurant or hospitality industries preferred
