The group includes Home Lending; Auto; Cards, Retail and Merchant Services; Personal Lending; Consumer Lending Control; and Consumer Lending Shared Services.
The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.
This position will be responsible for assisting with Consumer Lending metrics programs, including Line of Business level metrics and the Operational Risk Key Risk Indicator programs. This candidate will assist with establishing and overseeing execution of these metrics programs including monthly metrics productions, boundary escalations, reporting, and periodic annual review. The execution of these programs will provide business leadership with insight into risks associated with their respective business unit activities, as well as a framework to identify, escalate, and respond to limit breaches. The overall team’s function will establish, maintain and deliver key outcomes related to risk metrics, the Wells Fargo Risk Management Framework, and associated policies and procedures.
The candidate will work closely with others, including senior leaders, across Consumer Lending Control, Consumer Lending Businesses, and an array of Independent Risk Management (IRM) partners. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with many business and functional areas.
This individual must be capable of initiating action and managing change in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship management, influencing, vision, and execution skills are required. A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while having the ability to make timely and difficult decisions.
Successful candidates will have ability to distill complex concepts into simplified/targeted solutions, communicate those concepts effectively and ensure that all deliverables are met. They will use both vision and analysis to identify business problems and build compelling fact-based recommendations. Successful candidates will have the ability to distill complex risk concepts to assist the business in developing metrics, setting boundaries, escalating breaches and responding to challenge. They will use vision and analysis to produce reporting and ensure metric data suitability and accuracy.
They will also have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including Consumer Lending Control leaders, IRM, and program managers.

Please Note: Control Sr. Associate must be in one of the listed site locations. Position is currently remote; however, Control Sr. Associate will be required to work on site when Wells Fargo returns to standard operating model.
