Location: We are flexible on the location of this role, but prefer Arizona.

Join our team

The Systems Administrator maintains the GoDaddy live person messaging and chat platform on our front of site. The Admin is responsible for making changes to the messaging platform at the behest of the business operation. You will play a key role in incident management associated to the platform and work across instances of the messaging platform to development of the second level technical support platform. You will also be accountable for data collection from instances across the platform and for ensuring that the data is formatted and delivered to the accurate repositories for use in business decision making.

What you’ll get to do...

• Maintaining the test environment and deploy changes for testing in that environment
• Execute updates and changes with oversight from the platform administrator
• Troubleshooting system problems and updating service incidents with details
• Be part of an on-call rotation and join engineering discussions when urgent scenarios arise
• Developing new capabilities for level two technical support and maintaining that platform for continuous seamless operation
• Stewardship of platform updates and maintenance
• Ownership of safe platform turn up/down protocols during incidents
• Capture, formatting and transport of platform data
• Ticket/incident administration and recovery tactics

Your experience should include...

• 2 years Systems Admin experience, preferably in a contact center setting
• BS or equivalent experience in a computer science, information systems or related field
• Ability to develop API calls
• Proficiency in JavaScript/NodeJS and PHP
• Experience with incident management and emergent recovery tactics
• Testing and deployment skills
• Solving problems skills
