Job Description

We are looking for a high energy, marketing professional with an unwavering focus on business outcomes to lead the development of local Co-Op marketing plans, AND the local execution of the national marketing plan within our Dallas Field Office to profitably build sales, transactions, and cash flow for the company and Owner/Operator restaurants.

In partnership with the Field VP, Field Office Leadership Team and Owner Operator leadership, the Field Marketing Officer (FMO) helps develop, lead, execute and achieve the Field Office business plan through sound, relevant marketing.

This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of the marketing function for all Co-Ops within the assigned Field Office geography. Outside of the field office, the Field Marketing Officer influences the direction of the National marketing priorities, secures support for the national marketing plan and continually shapes Field Office support from headquarters.

Key customers include Field Office VP and Leadership Team, Co-Op Owner/Operators, local marketing agencies, National/Field Office staff and Restaurant Management within the assigned geography, approx. 1500 restaurants across TX, Oklahoma, KS and LA

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain and strengthen the McDonald's brand position (market share, preference, business results) in the Dallas Field Office
  • Participate and help lead the Field Office business plan development in alignment with the US Business Plan, execution and results management.
  • Be the regional subject matter expert (partnering with Field Office Consumer and Business Insights) on economic indicators, competitive strategies and industry trends.
  • Partner with the co-op marketing agencies, use business research and business indicators to help develop results oriented Co-op marketing plans.
  • Strategic leader of all Co-Op marketing plans, specifically: creative strategies/briefs and marketing and media strategies.
  • Directly manage at least one Field Office Co-Op.
  • Identify and utilize available resources outside of the Field Office to aid in the development and execution of the Co-Op marketing plans.
  • Develop and support the Field Marketing Manager(s) in strategic planning/alignment, tactical development, execution, evaluation, and continuous improvement of assigned Co-Op marketing plans
  • Provide leadership points of view, build strong relationships and foster teamwork among Owner/Operators, Agencies, Suppliers and Staff to achieve maximum performance.
  • Maximize success of the system plan by ensuring Owner/Operator understanding and advocacy for the national marketing plan by securing coop votes and providing continuous input and feedback to Field Office, and National Management.
  • In partnership with Coop leadership, hold agencies accountable for deliverables within approved scope, through formal and informal agency performance reviews

Qualifications
  • Marketing experience at the Director level
  • Experience managing Marketing Agencies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Master's preferred
  • Quick Service/Quick Casual Industry experience preferred
