Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Wells Fargo Commercial Capital
o A market-leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their lifecycle

Treasury Management & Payment Solutions
o Provides cash management services and digital channel capabilities for customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking
o Also serves some Consumer and Small Business Banking and Wealth and Investment Management customers, and Auto Dealer Finance partner relationships in Consumer Lending

Responsible for cross functional oversight of on-boarding activities for high revenue customers requiring a custom on-boarding process.
- Creates and manages formal intake process, and communicates across broad stakeholder groups, to ensure traceability and visibility into customers accepted for custom processing
- Assesses customer and internal speed to revenue opportunities against internal/regulatory process requirements and tools, and makes customized recommendations for execution
- Coordinates custom process hand offs and data/document orchestration
- Reports on cycle times, quality, and customer/internal feedback
- Troubleshoots issues and escalations; anticipates hurdles and proactively seeks solutions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Appropriately shares learnings back to strategic build teams for incorporation

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience with treasury management, commercial banking, or a combination of both
  • Ability to manage and support multiple priorities; project management orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives across the organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives and project teams
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
  • High level of initiative and accountability

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
