Are you seeking a new Web Designer role? Would you be keen to work with a dynamic, supportive digital and wider marketing team at a global digital content and technology company?

Reporting to the Digital Experience Manager, the Web Designer is responsible for the co-ordination of website content, campaign asset creative and campaign execution. The Web Designer will also work closely with the assigned Marketing Specialists, Content Strategists, and SEO Managers who define website structure and organisation of the content within it. It is a mix of producing and design and over time your role will move more into the web design side. We support web production across numerous marketing and business sites in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and other web platforms.

About the Role

In this new opportunity as Web Designer you will be focused on:

  • Management of website content on AEM, WordPress, and other CMS platforms
  • HTML and CSS development
  • Banner design and implementation for ecommerce, lead gen and nurture CTAs, social media, SEM, email
  • Page design and UX optimisation
  • Designing and build of campaign landing pages and emails
  • Applying SEO best practices to content
  • Receive and interpret briefs from the Marketing team
  • Following up with stakeholders and providing status updates
  • Adhere to documented processes and best practices

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Web Designer if you have:

  • 3 years of related experience or Undergraduate Degree in related discipline
  • Extensive HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Excellent CMS digital authoring experience: Ideally AEM, otherwise WordPress, Hybris etc
  • Responsive Web Design
  • Landing page design
  • Email design
  • UX design principles
  • SEO best practices
  • Web authoring tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver and/or Visual Studio
  • Passionate about technology and creativity
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience and attention to detail

Highly Desirable (but not essential)

  • JavaScript and jQuery
  • Eloqua experience (building landing pages and emails)
  • Graphic Design
  • WordPress template development
