Job Summary LOCATION: Illinois DESIGNATION: Project Lead QUALIFICATION: • key communicator for various Collaborative Product and Process Development teams to ensure early supplier selection at a part- number level aligned to category strategies and supplier collaboration on design for manufacturability, assembly, costs as well as adherence to APQP guidelines.
• understanding of GD&T principles
• part level development, PPAP validation and cost negotiation experience in project dependent: Castings, Gears, Shafts, Machined Components, Heavy Fabrications, Light Fabrications, Non-metallics and Wire Harnesses.
(1.) To review on the architecture and design deliverables. (2.) To architect, design and develop (through Team) solution for productorproject and sustenance delivery (3.) To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements (4.) To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology (5.) To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technologyorproduct) (6.) To support as an SME (7.)
