This is an exciting opportunity to provide Chief Technology Officer leadership in process, tools, and technology across the business solutions teams in our Industry Solutions group. This leader will have senior management responsibility with a significant focus on establishing the technical direction for our intellectual property (IP) in collaboration with the business solutions teams. Our subject matter experts and our technologists come together as teams with a diversity of backgrounds to solve complex business and IT challenges with innovative business solutions for leading organizations around the world.
Our ideal candidate should possess both business and technology leadership experience, specifically in the field of software development (i.e., languages, open source, frameworks) and the associated solution delivery capabilities (i.e., cloud, containers, SaaS) to organizations across both commercial and government entities. You will be responsible for guiding our business solutions teams in delivering innovative solutions by providing thought leadership, standards, and oversight in process and tool selection, technical architecture, and emerging technologies.
As the VPC-IP, you will lead have oversight to teams a team comprised of industry-focused directors, senior consultants and/or consultants as well as directly lead a team of experts that will be a part of your organization. You will influence all aspects of business solution development from inception through delivery. You will guide teams in the creation of business solutions, leveraging the appropriate processes, tools, and technologies while meeting client requirements and market-driven business needs. You will leverage your experience and technical depth to help teams design and architect complex solutions in advanced business and technology environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Overall accountability for the technical standards for our business solutions including usage of programming languages, open source frameworks, cloud, containers, 3rd party development platforms, and SaaS delivery models.
• Be a driving factor in the technical evolution of our business solution offerings including through the development of technology roadmaps.
• Provide leadership to a team of professionals – both direct reports and via global delivery.
• Ensure the success of business solutions development by proactively engaging with our global delivery and vendor partners.
• Support our account management teams in promoting our solutions and improving client satisfaction through demonstrated use of the appropriate leading technologies.
• Apply delivery and customer management best practices.
• Contribute to business strategy and budget planning.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 10 years of experience defining, building, and delivering business and information technology solutions to commercial and/or government entities.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing within a consulting organization (or a significant management role within a practice) with a focus on both technical leadership and technology selection/expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement a growth strategy in a consulting services environment.
• Business development including strategic sales planning.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Masters degree will be an added advantage.
• Ability to travel as required.
