Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting for a Sr. Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Services team in El Dorado Hills, CA. In this key role, you will work with the team to maintain all production support equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability. You will perform preventive maintenance, ongoing service, and emergency repairs on equipment on the production floor.

You will be responsible for mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including: printers, inserters and mail sorting equipment. We will work together and through this opportunity you will further develop your mechanical and technical skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains a parts inventory for machines by providing management with a complete list of parts to be ordered including the vendor to be used and the associated cost for each part
• Cooperate with others and assist in the training and pre-certification of equipment operators
• Follows all departmental procedures as directed including all departmental guidelines, keep accurate records of all work performed
• Checks the quality of material and ensuring that the material and final product is of satisfactory quality
• Assists in the responsibility for research and implementation of new technology and parts for all machines
• Experience/understanding in spare parts/repair parts control, parts ordering, budget and documentation
• Experience/Understanding for documentation, scheduling and performing Preventive Maintenance.
• Assist in training and certification of machine operators on material and detection set up as required
• Performs other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent or Technical/Trade School
• Ability to lift, carry and move 25+ lbs throughout duration of assigned shift
• Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies
• 5 -7 years’ experience within a production environment
• A proven proficiency in the operation, repair and maintenance of Insertion/Finishing equipment, electric and electric circuit experience necessary
