By leveraging data from Thomson Reuters Peer Monitor ( https://peermonitor.thomsonreuters.com ), Thomson Reuters Acritas ( https://Acritas.com ) and original surveys and research, this position is responsible for supporting customer accounts and for assisting in positioning Thomson Reuters as a leading voice in the markets it serves by delivering data-driven insights.

The industry data analyst will support professional market customers by analyzing, preparing and disseminating data into usual and thought provoking insights and ensuring they are receiving the highest possible value from their interactions with Thomson Reuters Market Insights and Thought Leadership.

About this Role

In this opportunity as Industry Data Analyst, you will:

  • Independent design and delivery of in-depth benchmarking analyses for Peer Monitor and Acritas cusomters as well as the broader professional markets the company serves
  • Conducting data and industry presentations for Managing Partners, C-level executives, and firm leaders at client firms, as well as the broader professional markets and internal groups.
  • Establish self as subject matter expert by driving product value, conducting client database training and renewing existing contracts.
  • Identify business development opportunities through high-level interactions with the marketplace, referrals, and relationship building strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and implementation teams to ensure the timely and professional delivery of services to manage and exceed client expectations.
  • Analyze industry data for the purposes of producing client and market-facing content
  • Validate data to ensure consistent reporting of defined business metrics
  • Develop content driven by insights derived from data analysis, extensive research, and thorough legal industry knowledge.
  • Project manage the final production of content with internal and external stakeholders
  • Articulate analysis & insights through multiple mediums including webinars, speaking engagements, and written reports

About you

You're a fit for the role of Industry Data analyst if you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, data science, applied mathematics, business analytics or related field preferred
  • Prior relationship management experience
  • Familiarity with law firm operations and/or any professional service industry knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to organize data and communicate results effectively both orally and in writing
  • Financial and executive-level acumen and interpersonal skills to connect with management and associated business issues in the firm
  • A personable, polished, executive presence and professional image
  • The ability to produce work of the highest quality under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Power Point skills
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization to drive results
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
