- Act as team leader and coach for assigned performance management responsibilities for ~12 Curators
- Organize consistent professional development of Curators, identifying priority skills and ensuring on-going opportunities to continue progression
- Provide mentorship and guidance to overall Curation team
- Lead effective hiring and on-boarding of team members, as needed
Topic Understand and Framing
Develop holistic understanding of topics under consideration and approved in order to provide strategic direction to Curation team
- With SRLs, assist with facilitating Leader/Collection Sponsor workshops to vet, frame and refine scope and focus of proposed Topics
- Develop and provide insights into characteristics of a good Topic
- Gain baseline understanding of nominated and approved Topics,, including alignment with industries, services, and geographies and priority areas of focus
- Understand cross-Topic synergies to enhance overall Collection connectivity
Collection Planning and Coordination
Assign portfolio of approved Collections to Curation team members to enable effective and coordinated delivery
- Leverage understanding of Topic synergies to assign Curators to aligned Topics where possible
- Develop and oversee coordination approaches, such as cross-Curator collaboration sessions, mechanisms to track SME outreach, and coordinated SRL reporting
- Monitor Curator workload to manage assignment of newly approved Topics on an on-going basis
Collection Processes
Create and advise on best practices to enable consistent and high quality delivery of Collections
- Develop processes, templates and tools that facilitate consistent planning and execution of Collections across Curators
- Advise Curation team members on approaches and leverage feedback to continue to enhance materials
- Monitor quality and consistency of delivery
SME Outreach Coordination
Oversee interactions with Sponsors and SMEs to align efforts and ensure appropriate level of engagement
- Coordinate effective interactions between Curators and SMEs across multiple Collections, and optimize opportunities for Curator effectiveness where Collections intersect and overlap
- Monitor status of interactions with Sponsors and SMEs
Progress Reporting
- Synthesize reports across Collections and provides executive summaries and analyses of progress to leadership across Collections; identify opportunities for Topic strategy revision
Organizational Coordination
Engage other KS teams to support effective delivery of Collections
- Proactively plan overall needed support across Collections with other teams (e.g., Practitioner Engagement)
- Assist with resolution of issues and barriers to timely delivery of Collections
KX Platform Optimization
Optimize effective use of KX capabilities to support Collection experience
- Develop deep understanding of technologies that enable Collection experience (e.g., tagging, search)
- Consult with Curation team members and make recommendations for Collection technology enhancements to KX Platform team

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; relevant fields of study may include Business, Management, Information Systems, Library Sciences, Journalism and/or Communications. Educated in Library Sciences/Information Management (a plus) Years of Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Experience in a global professional services organization preferred. Other Qualifications:
- Highly responsive with demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
- Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance
- Strong project management and planning capabilities
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, and customer service orientation
- Ability to facilitate leadership discussions and build consensus around a strategic direction
- Experience managing and developing teams, in particular in a virtual environment
- High comfort level working in a continually changing environment and managing multiple competing priorities
- Analytical and conceptual thinker with experience developing creative, strategic solutions
- Affinity for coaching and mentoring team members
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and develop staff
