Who You'll Work With
You will be based in our Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York or San Francisco office as part of the partner talent acquisition team, working closely with other functions (e.g. partner personnel, committees, legal, compensation). You will report into the director of partner talent acquisition. You will be a thought partner to key stakeholders to ensure our ability to hire distinctive candidates meet our highest strategic priorities. You will also serve as an ambassador to external partner candidates and new hires to ensure the quality of their experience. You will collaborate closely with dedicated talent development and sourcing teams as well as other relevant Centers of Excellence within recruiting (e.g. Assessment, Affinity) to bring the right functional expertise and innovations to bear on the external partner hiring and onboarding/integration process.What You'll Do
You will play a central role to support the hiring, election and onboarding of external partner talent that meet our strategic leadership needs, while ensuring a distinctive experience for candidates that will be successful within our partnership model. You will work with key stakeholders to validate and shape the strategy for meeting our strategic growth needs through external partner hiring. You will support a dialogue with key stakeholders on broader strategic priorities, and ensure targeted candidate profiles meet those needs. Once the need is validated, you will lead the ‘intake meeting’ with key senior stakeholders to understand strategic talent need that each candidate/case fills, including meeting critical diversity goals, and align on strategy and resourcing for the search. You will ensure priority and sponsorship requirements are met by a cell before any sourcing activities or candidate discussions kick off.You will lead best-in-class external partner sourcing approach, eventually working with sourcing experts. You will determine the appropriate sourcing strategy for validated need, collaborating with colleagues in adjacent teams (e.g. Talent Development & Sourcing). You will serve as an expert to shape candidate messaging based on deep knowledge of the overall hiring need / strategy. You will engage key internal stakeholders in the cultivation process where needed – e.g., identifying and activating referrals within their partners’ networks, determining which candidates to move forward with in the processYou will lead a distinctive interview process on behalf of the firm to ensure that external partner hires meet our strategic talent needs and our partner election and success requirements. Work with key stakeholders to set appropriate assessment strategy and interviewers, and ensure a timely, best practice process. You will serve as an independent thought partner with key stakeholders to ensure candidate viability, counsel on best practices and push back where needed to ensure adherence to them. You will collaborate and coordinate with relevant internal teams to ensure ongoing candidate viability and advance the case effectively and efficiently. You will serve as key contact for meeting candidate’s needs throughout the process, helping them understand their role and path at the firm (e.g. expectations of a partner), including setting clear expectations about the hiring, election and onboarding/integration process and gathering all relevant candidate information (e.g., CV, employment contract, etc.) and connecting the candidate to relevant functions that also have a role in the external hiring process, specifically legal, compensation, and sometimes mobility. You will support external partner hires’ cultivation, onboarding and integration to set them up for success at the firm. You will leverage expertise to manage strategic projects for the Partner Talent Acquisition function. You will lead various projects to help drive innovation and best practices across the function by working closely with other Partner Personnel functions, including in personnel committee meetings, to expand knowledge about our partnership and firm strategy, which will help ensure integration of the Partner Talent function with broader partner talent strategies. You will maintain strong functional linkages with recruiting (e.g., assessment, research/ sourcing, affinity) to ensure inclusion of best practices and innovation across the external partner hiring process. #LI-DNIQualifications
