The Integration Leader reports to the Head of Small Business Marketing and is responsible for ensuring integrated marketing strategy, plans, insights, routines and governance across all small business marketing and partner organizations for products, segments and channels, aligned with business strategy for the overall Small Business segment, which spans multiple products, channels and sub-segments:

  • Products: deposits, payments, credit (multiple products), Merchant services
  • Channels: Branch, digital on-us, digital off-us, phone, RBRM, BDO
  • Segments: Mass, Core, Premium, Women-Owned, Healthcare, Diverse

This leader partners closely with the various Small Business product, segment and channel marketing managers, leading the team to create plans that support Small Business in meeting their strategic (long term change) and financial (P&L) goals.

Within marketing, this leader works with the Small Business marketing leaders and Marketing Centers of Excellence to ensure that the analytic, customer trends & insights, and research roadmaps are aligned with the strategic priorities, creating the necessary routines and governance to do so - inclusive of Small Business Deposits, Small Business Payments, Small Business Lending and Small Business Content.

This leader also facilitates dialogue among various product and sub-segment business constituencies, to identify and resolve conflicting direction or determine business prioritization for marketing resources and initiatives.

The Integration leader ensures regular socialization with strategy/campaign teams and monitors adjustments to strategy based on evolving insights, driving routines for review of competitive insights across several areas including marketing investment, pricing/cash offers and messaging. Develops and manages governance and routines within the team, with COEs and with LOB partners to present a fully integrated, all-up Small Business view of activities, priorities, and decisions. This includes both quantitative and qualitative dimensions of marketing return, ensuring that marketing efforts are being optimized and maximized relative to business goals and available resources.

The Integration leader also leads strategic and/or change initiatives that may span multiple areas.

In all aspects above, this leader can act as a proxy for the head of Small Business Marketing, and demonstrates the business knowledge, communications skills, and relationship management strength necessary to do so.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leads development of annual and ongoing updates & optimization to integrated Small Business Marketing strategies and calendar, encompassing products, channels and segments (as articulated above). Defines and leads ongoing routines and decision making across Small Business marketing community and with overall marketing leadership as needed to achieve these outcomes.
  • Oversees strategic initiatives and/or risk mitigation initiatives on a project basis, leading cross functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Partners with marketing managers, market research and analytics teams to ensure overall cohesion for analytical and customer insight plans to support Small Business product and segment marketing strategy.
  • Liaises with Finance, Marketing Transformation & Planning, Line of Business Finance and other related stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate quantitative and financial information representing marketing contribution.
  • Manages stakeholder communications cadence and content.
  • Oversee group routines for employee development and culture development such as monthly team meetings, periodic (virtual or in person) offsites.

Preferred work locations: San Francisco, New York, Charlotte, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Des Moines, St. Louis, Irving, Denver or Phoenix. Open to any location in the Wells Fargo footprint.

Salary range is determined by location of the job.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:
CA-SF-Financial District: Min: $138,600 Mid: $198,000 Max: $257,400
NC-Charlotte: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500
MO-Saint Louis: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500
NY-New York: Min: $138,600 Mid: $198,000 Max: $257,400
TX-Irving: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500
CO-Denver: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500
GA-Atlanta: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500
IA-Des Moines: Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000 Max: $214,500

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 8 years’ experience leading strategic planning, marketing strategy, or related function (this can be total experience combined across planning, marketing strategy, or marketing initiative/program management).
  • 6 years’ experience leading cross-functional, matrixed teams to deliver high-quality strategies, plans, initiatives and results
  • Strong “storytelling” – ability to develop and deliver presentations for multiple stakeholders: executive, functional (finance, business managers, marketing, risk, etc) demonstrating understanding of business and functional drivers
  • Ability to oversee complex program design and execution end-to-end, managing a virtual team of various specialists (creative agency, analytics, data, channels) in order to achieve strategic business goals (for special/strategic initiatives, not routine marketing campaigns)
  • Highly developed facilitation, collaboration and conflict resolution skills in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Broad based experience and understanding of various aspects of Marketing disciplines – analytics, creative, research, channel/media selection, modeling, customer experience and process risk management - and how they are used. Able to select and apply correct disciplines to solve marketing problems
  • Ability to effectively identify and lead mitigation of all types of related risk.
  • A Masters’ of Business Administration (MBA) highly desired.
