Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco or Silicon Valley office as part of McKinsey’s Digital & Analytics recruiting team with a focus on QuantumBlack (QB) hiring, working closely with QB colleagues. Working as part of our Experienced Professional Recruiting Hub, you’ll have the opportunity to drive the recruitment activity for QuantumBlack. You will work with recruiters and managers to ensure a strong pipeline of highly skilled, qualified and motivated people. You will develop and deliver high quality recruitment practices which embody our values and create an exceptional hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams within QuantumBlack.QuantumBlack is part of McKinsey Digital & Analytics, the global home to nearly 5,000 of the world’s most talented professionals across the fields of digital, analytics, and design. What You'll Do

You will identify, assess and attract talent for the QuantumBlack community. In this role, your main responsibilities will include working with leadership to understand and define talent needs, develop profiles and manage targets through planning, coordinating and driving hiring activities for experienced professionals. You will craft sourcing strategies using an appropriate combination of direct sourcing, referrals and other relevant methods. You will create a clear view of the competitive landscape for each expertise area and determine the top players, conferences and events relative to the talent pool. You will work with the recruiting team to plan, coordinate and execute all stages of the recruitment process [interview days, events, cultivation] to contribute to the development of our recruiting strategy. You will participate in recruiting-related projects when needed [e.g. recruiting system design, reporting, assessment).You will manage cultivation and integration of experienced professional hires into the firm. You will provide end-to-end management of the candidate through their progression in the recruiting process from up front conversations through to offer creation and onboarding. You will attract and develop candidate interest through effective messaging as well as help them understand the unique value proposition of joining Digital McKinsey.You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and a willingness to innovate and go the extra mile to deliver fully diverse hiring. You will also collaborate with our recruiting communications team to understand the external talent market and ensure our messaging is reaching our target audience.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of recruiting experience
• Experience and proven success in hiring for technical positions such as software engineering, data engineering, data science, product, design
• End-to-end recruitment experience working closely with all levels of a business and senior stakeholders
• Ability to lead creative direct sourcing strategies
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who is motivated to build strong candidate relationships and providing exceptional candidate experience
• Proven track record of collaborating with hiring managers and colleagues to generate employee referrals
• Interest in analytical technology innovations such as AI and machine learning
• Excellent organizational and process management skills
• Solutions oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to think outside the box
• Excellent prioritization skills
• Ability to work collaboratively yet work independently
