Summary

We’re looking for a Financial Crime (“FinCrime”) Assurance Analyst to join our new FinCrime Assurance team.

The FinCrime Assurance Analyst will be responsible for analysing the effectiveness of FinCrime Controls and enhancing the customer experience. You will have the opportunity to have a real impact on crucial problems that affect customers and Monzo. The role will involve the timely and accurate monitoring of controls and the holistic analysis of all performance trends. Our team is detail-oriented, technical and we love to get down into the nitty-gritty of our processes to deliver the best possible outcomes.

The role will involve:

  • Creation of FinCrime Assurance management information reports and dashboards;
  • Root cause analysis, trend analysis and process improvement;
  • Creation of FinCrime Assurance testing questions;
  • Proactive management of issue and audit requests;
  • Re-mark requests;
  • QA Check-the-checker;
  • Pulse checks on prioritised FinCrime controls;
  • Guidance and support for FinCrime Quality Assessors;
  • Being flexible with responsibilities and have a positive attitude towards any changes to role, company/departmental objectives, priorities and targets.

You should apply if:

  • You have an excellent understanding of FinCrime Controls;
  • Have experience in root cause analysis;
  • Are confident in building management information reports and dashboards;
  • Use data and logic to backup decisions and improve understanding;
  • You approach work in a structured and logical way;
  • You are confident in converting operating procedures in to testable requirements;
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills;
  • A tenacity to problem solve;
  • Good wider business awareness;
  • You share our mission to improve people’s relationship with their money;
  • Exceptional understanding of procedures and possibilities to identifying gaps;
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of Looker and other data analysis tools is preferred.
  • It would be highly desirable if you have experience analysing data using relevant tools.

Due to the nature of the role, this is a full time position. We understand the importance of flexibility so are happy to discuss full time working patterns which suit your circumstances.

The salary could be circa £28-45k dependent on level and experience.
