Job Description

Xilinx is looking for a tech lead for Vivado Place and Route team to lead development of critical projects for Next-Gen Vivado Backend tools. Primary responsibilities in this position will be:

• Innovate and develop novel algorithms in Place and Route to get multi-fold performance improvements (QoR, Compile Time, Memory Usage)
• Lead tiger teams on large projects
• Interact with Customers, helping them converge on their critical design needs
• Work with Tech Marketing and Applications Engineering to understand customer needs and accordingly architect new features
• Work with Architecture team to design next gen FPGA and ACAP solutions

Job Qualifications

BS with 12+ years of exp or MS with 8+ years of exp or PhD with 4+ years of exp in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related equivalent

• Experience in leading technical teams on large projects
• Expertise in EDA algorithms and C++ Programming
• Strong Analytical skills
• Knowledge of FPGA, Machine Learning or Python is a plus
