***Applicants must be graduating between January 2021 - July 2021 from a Bachelor's Degree Program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field*** Why We Need You PagerDuty is excited to launch our first ever People and Places Leadership Development Program (LDP)! This is a challenging rotational program that gives participants developmental and leadership opportunities across the People and Places organization
. As part of the program, participants will have a 27-month road map consisting of 3, nine-month long rotations across the different functions of the People & Places Team. Some potential rotations include: People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR Business Partner. In addition to their rotational work, participants will also have the opportunity to gain hands on, project-based experience working on strategic people-related priorities. The projects could span across many different HR functional areas including: Talent Development, Benefits, Compensation, HR programs, Reporting and Analytics, Global Mobility, and Talent Acquisition. Participants in the program will be given significant support throughout the program by senior leadership, rotational managers and assigned peer mentors that are committed to developing your career as a leader. Beyond the program, rotators could go into a variety of roles on the team based on individual goals, aspirations and business needs.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the company including with employees, managers, leaders, HR Business Partners, Recruiters, other People & Places team members
- Deliver excellent employee experience by solving a wide range of employee and manager requests.
- Collaborate with other team members to solve problems #runtogether
- Understand and apply agile methodologies to People & Places related challenges
- Use data to drive thoughtful problem solvingRepresent PagerDuty’s core values and curate our culture through People & Places processes and solutions
- Participate in projects to design and create programs and practices for PagerDuty (examples of potential projects include, Rewards & Recognitions approach, Talent Development offerings, Career Pathing, Employee Communications, Compensation Programs, etc.)
About You
- Strong ability to efficiently manage your time and competing, yet equally compelling projects and priorities.
- Passionate in taking initiative, be a self-starter and thrive in taking a hands-on approach to challenging work.
- Able to think on your feet, be proactive in asking questions, and solve problemsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility & adaptability - comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- High interest in leadership roles within the HR function
- Desire to work in teams or pair with other members of the team on projects/initiatives
- Interested in learning different ideas and concepts related to People & Places strategies
- Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels in the organization
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduating sometime between January 2021 - August 2021 with Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field
- [Preferred] Previous HR experience or experience in high tech companies (through internships, projects, etc)
