Chief Cloud Security Architect

Key Role:

Lead the design and development of cloud security architectures for cloud/hybrid systems deployed across multiple cloud service providers, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Provide cloud security architectural leadership and best practices, contribute directly to the overall global enterprise cloud architecture and deliver on the security vision and strategy around cloud-based applications for our clients, across all types of platforms, including Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS). Serve as a central point of contact for other technology teams in the Commercial business, for all matters related to cloud and cloud security architecture and reports into the Cloud Security Practice Leader. Partner with other leaders across the business to identify opportunities and risks required to develop and deliver solutions that support business strategies and protect our clients’ intellectual property globally.

Basic Qualifications

-10+ years of experience with technical architecture, cybersecurity, and information technology

-5+ years of experience with Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware NSX

-Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes application security, data security, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security in IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments

-Experience with container orchestration, automation, and security configuration management, including Jenkins and Chef

-Experience in working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and server virtualization technologies.

-BA or BS degree or 12+ years of experience with the design and development of cloud security architectures

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware implementations

-Experience with multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments

-Knowledge of modern authentication protocols, cybersecurity, and all components of a technical architecture

-Knowledge of cloud computing technologies business drivers and emerging computing trends

-Knowledge of business process reengineering principles and processes

-Knowledge of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client and server systems

-Ability to provide oversight on major transformation projects and successful transitions to support teams

-BA or BS degree in CS, Systems Analysis, or a related field
