Advanced Thermal Sciences is a leading company in chiller industry globally. With over 25,000 units installed on leading airlines worldwide, ATS is the supplier of choice for galley chilling solutions. ATS is also the supplier of choice for the semiconductor industry, having thousands of units installed at leading manufacturers. This position is for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our ATS Singapore Customer Support team. The team has the mandate to ensure customer expectation is being met in this region. You will have the ability to draw upon the extensive portfolio of products and resources that Collins Aerospace has, to prospect and execute pursuit strategies to capture business opportunities.Key Responsibilities
Basic troubleshooting, installation, training, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.
Preparing 8D reports; experienced in other problem solving skills.
Host/Attend daily conference calls with customers and clients.
Ability to travel overseas 20% of the time.
Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications.
Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
Meet all of the appointments in a given day.
Respond quickly to customer problems.
Build relationships and trust with customers and clients.
Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
Track and document the progression of work.
Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated.
Adhere to company’s given rules and regulations.
Meeting all Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues.
Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contract renewals and system sales.
Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
Ability to lift and carry a toolbox that can weigh up to 50 lbs (23kg).
Ability to push equipment that can weigh up to 1670 lbs (757kg).
Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering related discipline with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Management skill within large corporation is advantageous.
Fluent in English, additional language skill in any of the Asian countries is a benefit.
Experience in customer service, customer support, field operational and maintenance, semiconductor customers is required.
Good presentation, communication and writing skills are a benefit.
