Help us build a better Wells Fargo. It all begins with outstanding talent. It all begins with you.

Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) is at the center of our efforts to rebuild trust and transform the way we serve our customers and clients. The CSBB organization is focused on innovating and transforming our business with the customer at the center, better enabling customers to engage with us how, when, and wherever they choose through a broad suite of financial products and services. While we are pleased to be an industry leader in many consumer and small business areas, including retail deposits, debit card transaction and purchase volume, and small business lending, our primary goal is delivering for our customers. Our market positions are an outcome of great work by employees who are committed to serving our customers. We want to build a strong value proposition for key consumer and small business segments by identifying gaps and opportunities and building capabilities to transform how we engage customers and deliver advice.

Consumer Marketing provides marketing support for the CSBB businesses and the Marketing Centers of Excellence (COE) support for marketing needs across the enterprise.

The Marketing Digital Accessibility and Governance (MDAG) Manager will lead a team of digital accessibility and governance consultants to ensure that Marketing’s digital content complies with Wells Fargo’s Accessibility for Customers and Employees with Disabilities and Digital Properties Policies, including the Digital Accessibility Policy.

This leadership role will be responsible for continuing to develop and mature the Marketing digital accessibility and governance program by identifying gaps in Marketing business processes that introduce risk of ADA and digital policy noncompliance, and working with digital Marketers to create processes that include digital governance reviews. They will provide strategic direction that focuses on creating consistency in the team’s accessibility testing, reporting, and consulting strategies, and will work closely with the enterprise Accessibility and Digital Properties policy teams to ensure procedures align with policy requirements, and they will be responsible for oversight of issue management activities for ADA related areas of opportunity. They will also take on the role of Marketing’s ADA Coordinator, acting as a liaison between Marketing and the enterprise ADA policy proponent and providing guidance on this regulatory policy to Marketing team members.

This position requires strong and supportive leadership skills to coach and mentor a team of highly skilled digital accessibility subject matter experts who work in a fast paced environment and provide consultation and policy guidance to Marketing as digital content and campaigns are developed.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Leadership and advocacy skills that influence business partners and senior management to understand the importance and requirements of digital accessibility and governance work
  • The ability to explain complex, often technical concepts to a wide audience, including senior management
  • Collaborative leadership skills with the capability of initiating action and managing change in a fast paced environment
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, vision, and execution skills
  • The ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment
  • A sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while having ability to make timely and difficult decisions

The candidate will work closely with other leaders across Marketing and the CSBB Control organization in the development and execution of CSBB and enterprise Control strategies related to digital accessibility and governance. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with multiple business and functional areas to provide process insight into the risks, controls, gaps, and trends which present opportunities to de-risk Marketing processes, particularly as they pertain to digital governance.
