SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager of Digital Art and Design will drive end to end creative design and execution for all categories, including development of 360 campaigns across multiple platforms to support overall brand strategy and product positioning. This role will be responsible for maintaining and elevating the global image of Smashbox and GlamGlow. This position is expected to deliver elevated, breakthrough creative. Additionally, the Senior Manager will be responsible for all end-to-end planning and execution of Creative Concepts, working with in-house resources and agency partners to design and develop creative from concept through production and delivery.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Drive creative strategy and execution with a digital first mind set, creating a holistic digital creative that can be dispersed into various mediums and translated across all touch points of the company.
  • Collaborate with creative team to develop thoughtful, innovative 360 concepts across print and digital in line with brand strategy and campaign needs. Demonstrate the ability to concept, art direct, and execute compelling creative storytelling across print and digital platforms (from initial concept through final design execution and art direction).
  • Participate in Creative briefings, and partner closely with Marketing to understand 360 campaign needs in order to support overall brand strategy and activation.
  • Ensure the level of excellence in all creative work designed and executed. This includes concept, design, photographic art direction, supervision of retouching, supervision of production, and supervision of all execution for campaign to ensure consistency and cohesiveness.
  • Design and concept innovative, locally relevant digital experiences to support brand strategy.
  • Drive creative strategy and execution with a digital first mind set, creating a holistic digital creative that can be dispersed into various mediums and translated across all touch points of the company.
  • Partner with agencies and supervise all outside services.
  • Present to and collaborate directly with senior level creatives.
  • Work directly with regional Creative Directors and COEs to develop iterative campaigns for localization.
  • Partner with Shoot Production team to make sure all assets are captured during shoots.
  • Maintain brand strategy, identity, and consistency of the brands.

Qualifications

POSITIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BFA in related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience in a creative environment
  • Must have substantial knowledge of print production including retouching, pre-press, proofing and be proficient in InDesgin, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Basic After Effects/Animation skills is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills, team spirited, and able to guide and develop team members
  • Requires deep digital and creative expertise, as well as the ability to serve as a thought-partner
  • Drive for innovation and disruption with cosmetic and luxury mindset
  • Highly driven and energetic, proactive and takes initiative
  • Superior organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills
