What You'll Do

At BCG, we believe that many of the attributes and skills that have allowed you to succeed at Teach First are essential to consulting. Like teachers, management consultants must be good with people, intellectually curious, creative and have strong leadership skills.

Over the 4 week internship, you will be equipped with core business skills, dedicated training modules and your own BCG buddy to support you. You will be assigned to a project where you will be given ownership and responsibility for your module. The module will likely consist of research and data analysis, client interviews and meetings etc.

Like our full-time staff, you’ll work alongside some of the world’s top minds on cases that reshape business, government, and society. Consulting work is varied and rigorous and projects can vary in length, size, and location, depending on the client’s challenge. You’ll collaborate on projects with team members from many backgrounds and disciplines, increasing your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives and developing new skills and experience to help you in the future, be that at BCG or beyond.

We can be flexible on the internship start date so please include your availability in your application, including if you are able to commit to more than 4 weeks. This internship has been designed specifically for Teach First and the schedule will be developed to ensure you have a community of Teach First peers for support.

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

· You are a Teach First trainee or ambassador

· You are able to spend 4 weeks with BCG over the summer

· You have achieved a grade of 2:1 or higher in any B.Sc. / BA you have completed

· You have an exceptional academic record

· You demonstrate evidence of high level success in extracurricular activities

· You can exhibit a genuine interest / experience in management consulting
