Summary:

The GSA team is seeking a Principal Solution Architect with extensive experience in both technology and security to be a technical trusted advisor to Imperva’s strategic customers to advance the adoption of Imperva’s world-class products. The Principal Solution Architect will be responsible for meeting with customers at the various phases of product deployments as well as collaborating with other teams to ensure products are architected, deployed and configured in a manner to deliver maximum value. The Principal Solution Architect will also work to understand at a macro-level how customers are leveraging Imperva’s product offerings, identify new emerging business and technical trends, and work closely with Product Management (PM) and Product Development (PD) to ensure the strategic product roadmaps align with evolving customer requirements and expectations.

Responsibilities:

● Drive the adoption of Imperva’s world-class products in strategic accounts. This work will include the evangelization of technology strategy and deployment methodologies.

● Work collaboratively with PM, PD, and Customer Success (CS) to identify, define, develop, and implement techniques to improve Imperva’s product offerings and deployment processes.

Team with post-sale field teams and delivery leaders, as needed, to drive the evolution, standardization of methodologies, and operational processes to help customers realize value from Imperva products.

Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to other internal technical field teams with company, product, and industry knowledge and experience as needed.

● Stay up-to-date on all Imperva’s product offerings, including maintaining lab environments with the latest versions and test applications, for the purposes of quickly simulating and reproducing customer deployment scenarios, and defining methodologies and best practices as product offerings evolve.


Required Skills & Competencies:

● 10+ years technology experience

● Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and project management skills

● Demonstrated facilitation, collaboration and problem-solving skills

● Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders leading to “trusted advisor status”

● Demonstrated competency in the ability to translate customer/business requirements into business solutions

● Demonstrated understanding of the 360 customer experience, including but not limited to client business drivers and client value attainment (ROI/TCO)

● Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, application deployment processes, and automation (APIs)

● Proficient with at least one the following cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

● Highly motivated with the ability to work independently to successfully drive projects

Education:

● Undergraduate degree in Information Systems/ Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience required

Quarterly Manageable Business Objectives:

● Drive the adoption of Imperva’s products on a case by case basis at strategic customers

● Engage technically with strategic customers to understand their challenges, Imperva’s opportunities, develop relationships to be able to test/validate innovative products/features

● Communicate strategic customer feedback monthly with PM to incorporate and align with our product strategy and product roadmaps

● Contribute to 2 community blog posts and webinars per quarter; present on best practices, product strategy, and innovation topics
