Yext is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the FP&A team that will provide technical and creative skills to solve both data and system challenges. The role will be responsible for supporting the administration and development of the Anaplan platform as well as driving data and process improvement initiatives for the department.
Reporting to the Director of Finance Analytics and Enablement, the successful candidate will be able to think out of the box and always be thinking strategically to find solutions. From developing models, to integrating data, to surfacing key information in Tableau, this role has the opportunity to make an impact and the freedom to get creative.
We’re looking for someone that’s results oriented, creative and curious, has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and is able to manage projects cross functionally.
What You’ll Do

• Administer and support the Anaplan platform
• Configure, maintain and update Anaplan data flows, users, lists, modules, dashboards, settings to support daily operations and new initiatives
• Own and assist processes in the forecasting and planning cycles
• Provide ongoing production support to the end users regarding application functionality and data integrity
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, create proof of concepts, and end-to-end development, and run UAT sessions for future model enhancements and projects
• Participate in managing the backlogs and long term commitments to deliver a cohesive Anaplan platform for all end-users
• Support operational data projects to enhance business and IT processes across the finance organization and performance tracking
• Manage multiple projects and diverse, cross-functional project teams simultaneously, while successfully driving projects and tasks to completion

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree or similar college level education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar field
• 3-5 years experience in FP&A, Accounting, IT, Consulting, or related roles. Experience in a high growth technology company is a plus.
• Required administration and development experience of a financial modeling system such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Planful, or similar.
• Understanding of three statement financial modeling and accounting principles
• Have a good understanding of key business and finance functions (GL close process, FP&A, Treasury, Revenue, etc).
• SQL and Tableau skills a plus
• Organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight timelines
• Excellent analytical skills, strong proficiency in financial modeling, attention to detail
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
