The Lead DevOps Business Systems Analyst will be a leader in cross-departmental efforts to identify and guide the implementation of standardized DevOps strategies across Thomson Reuters. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills to gather information and requirements, identify inconsistencies with expected DevOps process and oversee the implementation of solutions.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Developer Excellence team who has demonstrated abilities to partner with development and operations teams during their transition to a DevOps culture at Thomson Reuters.

About the Role:

  • Partner with development and operations teams to identify their current DevOps maturity and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prioritize suggestions and provide to our engagement team who will help with implementing or migrating to suggested tools.
  • Promote preferred DevOps practices across Thomson Reuters by presenting at meetings, coordinating trainings, and sharing positive experiences of other teams after practices were adopted.
  • Review metrics gathered as part of the DevOps journey to assess future needs or promote adoption.

About You:

  • Strong understanding of the DevOps practices and tools.
  • Passion for working with teams to implement and follow DevOps practices.
  • Work with teams to understand their maturity level along the DevOps process.
  • Analyze current tools and processes and make recommendations to guide the individual teams to use standard DevOps practices.
  • Recommend helpful documentation and contribute updates to DevOps community of practice pages.
  • Participate in the implementation of tool and process changes from inception to completion.
  • Determine overall success of activities by measuring improvements of efficiencies within technology department.

Experience

  • At least five years of experience working within a DevOps environment.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding teams toward DevOps practices.
