Job Description

Description:RMS is seeking talented, highly motivated individuals for the Program Management Rotation Program (PMRP). This program is designed to provide a broad view of the RMS line of businesses through diversified work experience, targeted training, and exposure to the Program Management discipline at IWSS/ C6ISR/TLS/Sikorsky. PMRP Associates will rotate through multiple Market Segments over a 3-year period via three 1-year assignments.
PMRP Associates will be given challenging assignments across a broad range of functions supporting the Program Management Office (PMO). Available rotations may include but are not limited to, Capture, Proposals, Program Operations, Program Planning & Control (PP&C), Subcontracts PM, and Control Account Management. Upon successful completion of the Program, employees may be considered for roles including:
-Project Manager
-Deputy/Associate Program Manager
-Deputy Subcontracts Program Manager
-Program Manager
-Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead
-Program Finance Management
-Program Operations Management
These roles will be located at below locations:
Syracuse, NY
Owego, NY
Moorestown, NJ
Manassas, VA
Orlando, FL
Stratford, CT
Location is dependent on the role availability.
Basic Qualifications:
-BS in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent with 7-10 years of applicable experience
- MBA preferred, or MS in Engineering & Management, Finance or equivalent
Desired Skills:
-MS in Engineering & Management, Finance or equivalent
-MBA preferred
-Aerospace & Defense background/experience
-Active Secret Clearance
-Successful candidates will be independent self-starters with demonstrated experience in project management having demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially under pressure in fast-paced environments.
-Ability to prioritize & manage workflow to maximize productivity
-Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
-The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working in cross functional teams and communicating across all levels within the organization
-Must be able to successfully manage competing priorities
-PMI certification and experience with Primavera, SAP, and Deltek PPM is a plus
