Your Role and Responsibilities
Deskside Support Representative-Onsite Support - Tampa, FL
Perform Deskside services to include software and hardware installs, move, add, changes (IMAC), and software support on Customer workstations. Provide problem identification and resolution in person or remotely using remote takeover tools. Includes consultation with support groups, such as LAN, Admin, Networking, Software distribution, etc. Able to work with limited assistance or direction by management. Ability to work with team members to receive and ship hardware. Experience with Imaging PCs using PXE boot from a SCCM server and installing applications. Ability to provide VIP support as a portion of their overall support coverage. Utilize troubleshooting techniques on PC platforms that incorporate Microsoft or Apple Operating Systems. Experience supporting MS-O365 applications, Outlook, and mobile devices. Basic understanding of Active Directory, VPN technologies such as Cisco Anyconnect, VDI/VMware, wireless technologies including access points, and Full disk encryption. Experience with Problem ticketing systems to accept work assignments, document ticket progress using ticket codes to track work in progress, logging status to include assignment, Work in Progress, Pending and Resolution. Background check will be required. Hours: Monday through Fridays 8am to 5pm generally, may shift to provide coverage.
