The primary responsibility of this position will be the proposal finance POC for the RF COE. It is expected that the position will work with a variety of lines of business. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, developing, coordinating inputs for the RF COE including proposals and requests that cross multiple COEs.
Successful candidate will compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications for COE scope. Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Candidate will review inputs for reasonableness against historical programs and communicates differences. Additionally, investments such as IRAD, Capital and FEA needs are assessed at the COE level with coordination from program. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings. Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
The candidate will be expected to keep open lines of communication with Program leadership, COE leadership, Finance & Business Operations leadership, and finance personnel on programs. This is a unique opportunity to interface with leaders from areas outside of F&BO and create value for our customers in the form of cost reduction and schedule risk mitigation.
Center of Excellence (COE) construct is to expand capabilities and responsibilities across the Business Area, including driving commonality within spacecraft components with the end goal to reduce the price of the Lockheed Martin programs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong skills in excel and modeling
• Experience in estimating or proposals
• Experience using BOE analysis tool
• Strong analytical skills along with a working understanding of analytical techniques
Desired Skills:
• Experience in other business functions like cost management, ICE, contracts
• Experience and or a solid working understanding of parametric estimating techniques is desired.
• Experience in Earned Value Management is a plus
• Eligible to obtain US Government Security Clearance
