Get to know the role:

The Onboarding Specialist (6 months contract with opportunity for renewal) is an exciting role in the Learning & Development team that provides critical support for the smooth execution of Grab’s transition programmes, aimed at boosting Grabbers’ engagement and speed to productivity in their new roles.

As the Onboarding Specialist, you will be our prime Brand Ambassador and we will bank on you to imbibe and spread the Grab culture which we are very proud of. You’ll also be a familiar face to many Grabbers since you’ll be amongst the first people they meet at Grab. Which should not be a problem because you love meeting and working with people from different teams.

Get to know the Day-To-Day:

Rest assured your days at Grab will never be mundane, considering the growth we’ve had. Your responsibilities will however include some, if not all of the following:

• Engaging and supporting new hires in the pre-onboarding stage
• Supporting and executing our transition programmes, including New Grabber and New Manager onboarding
• Creating training materials for our programmes
• Crafting programme communications and creative marketing content
• Organizing social and networking events for new joiners
• Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to drive activities
• Manage Onboarding tools and platform
• Provide administrative, logistical and operational support for programme
• Research and propose creative ideas to engage new Grabbers
• Tracking and reporting on progress of new joiner’s onboarding journeys
• Leveraging data and metrics for continuous improvements of programs and processes
• Liaise with external vendors for various trainings
• Exploring and proposing creative ideas to enhance the transition programmes

The Must Haves:

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Confident in large group presentations and good facilitation skills (both in-person and virtual)
• Strong attention to detail
• Flair for interacting with people
• Resourceful and ability to work with ambiguity
• Ability to build rapport quickly and demonstrate positivity
• Strong service mindset
• High energy and willing to roll up sleeves and get one’s hands dirty
• Experience in supporting and executing events/trainings

Technical Skills Requirement:

• Familiarity with using HR/Onboarding tool and platforms
• Strong visual. graphics and video editing skills a plus

This Data Protection Notice / Privacy Policy describes how GrabTaxi Holdings Pte Ltd (“Grab”) and its respective subsidiaries, associate companies and jointly controlled entities (“Grab Group”) uses your Personal Data.

“Personal Data” means information about you, from which you are identifiable, including but not limited to your name, identification card number, passport number, nationality, address, telephone number, race, gender, date of birth, marital status, resident status, education background, email address, your occupation, and any other information about you that has been or may be collected, stored, used and processed by Grab Group from time to time which may include sensitive personal data such as data relating to health, political, religious or other similar beliefs.

In some circumstances, you may have provided Personal Data relating to other individuals (such as your referees) and in such circumstances you represent and warrant that you are authorized to provide their Personal Data to the Grab Group and you have obtained their consent for their Personal Data be processed and used in the manner as set forth in this Notice.

When the Personal Data requested through this tool is mandatory, you must provide and agree to the processing of this Personal Data by Grab Group. However, if you do not provide Grab Group your Personal Data, Grab Group will not be able to process your Personal Data for the purposes outlined below and your application may be rejected.

The information provided by you in your employment application will be stored in the GRAB Candidate Application Database. The purposes for which Grab Group processes your Personal Data are as follows:

1. To verify your identity;
2. To assess and/or verify your suitability and employability;
3. To contact you in respect of your application;
4. To perform other related activities (including surveying and research activities to improve Grab's recruiting processes);
5. To consider you for future potential opportunities and may include a link to your public social media profile(s) which you have authorized Grab to access by applying with a social media widget/button.

Your information will be accessed by Grab’s internal recruiters, hiring managers, potential managers in the hiring organization and the associated technical and human resources supporting staff. If you decide not to provide us with your personal data in any of the mandatory fields, we will not be able to continue with your employment application using this tool. If you are applying for a particular opening, the data controller/holder of your application information is your potential employer in the GRAB group and your information will be protected in accordance with local law applicable to your potential employer. If you are submitting your application for any open current or future positions, the data holder of your information will be GRAB group until your information is submitted to your potential employer for a vacancy.

Please note that Grab is a Singapore Corporation and while being the holder of your information it will be protected in accordance with Singapore Laws. By registering, you acknowledge and approve that your information may be processed by any member of the Grab Group for the purpose of evaluating your application for employment in the respective countries and performing any related activities.
