The Centralized Logging Systems and Services (CLSS) team is part of the Enterprise Technology Infrastructure group that is responsible for all aspects of the enterprise technology infrastructure, and various applications. CLSS is responsible for the machine generated-log consumption, and making the aggregated data available to the appropriate parties.

As an experienced DevOps engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale within a logging and metrics environment, while using your expertise in coding, complexity analysis and large-scale system design. The engineer must adopt and support a culture of diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and openness.

You have a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions. You have experience working as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer in a scaled cloud environment, and have implemented automated solutions across a variety of applications and systems. You enjoy writing code and creating automation to manage your services.

• 5+ years of systems analysis experience, systems programming experience or combination of both
• 5+ years of experience with Linux operating system engineering or automation
• 4+ years of experience in Automation and Continuous Integration-Continuous Development (CI-CD) of Full Circle applications
• 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
• 3+ years of experience designing and managing Splunk Dashboards, reports, lookup tables, and summary indexes, including Splunk SPL
• 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
• 1+ year of experience working with Kubernetes computer program

• Knowledge of design methodology, Infrastructure operations support or engineering
• 2+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
• Experience securing IaaS/PaaS private cloud or DevOps environments
• Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
• Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy

• Experience working in a large enterprise environment – scale, change controls, process & procedures
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Other Splunk premium products experience a plus - UBA, Hunk, MLTK, etc.
• Splunk query, reporting, and dashboard skills with particular emphasis on reporting on infrastructure & application performance & capacity
• SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
• BS/BA degree or higher
