The Global Operations Project Manager supports the order fulfilment organization for Global Operations Order Management and will provide project management support for various programs and projects supporting order process once they are considered "clean" through to the invoice (revenue recognition) – this will include eInvoicing onboarding efforts, revenue recognition process / program support, invoicing strategy and design, as well as other operational and compliance strategic break/fix activities, including process engineering type support. You will be engaged in global as well as regional projects and required to provide regular updates, lead teams or work individually, providing their leadership, expertise. Will lead on behalf of OF any Compliance projects, from scoping to conclusion, including design, testing and support efforts. You will be required to cross train with peers and engage with and/or support other projects that they are not leading where applicable. This role may require some operations support as needs arise. The right candidate will have a working knowledge of order management from PO to Invoice and be able to apply said knowledge to the applicability of the project. This candidate may also perform MADO support, including test, coordination, IT engagement (including business requirements documentation), and execution.

In a typical day as a Global Operations Project Manager, you would:

  • Communicate tactical process decisions and plans, project status, and issues and workarounds, in order to achieve alignment with relevant areas of the business, function, or region.
  • Lead internal projects with medium to high complexity and risk, provides feedback on projects, and conducts post project evaluations.
  • Will support e-Invoicing (B2B, B2Bi, and EDI) engagements with external and internal customers and partners - will work with IT and various internal organization to deliver through a Project based approach
  • Represent the needs of the business, function, or region on an ongoing basis to drive process improvements with other organizations as well as our own.
  • Utilize and assist others in utilizing standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches.
  • Establish processes which are consistent with overall organization objectives and maintains process documentation.
  • Breadth of knowledge and experience in project management, business, customer stakes, subcontractor management, stakeholder management
  • Support compliance programs that are required via governmental or corporate requirements-- able to lead/deploy short term programs from End to End-- aligning with cross functional organizations (knowledge of Order management globally preferred, as well as customer / partner care support and fulfillment activities)
  • May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations with limited guidance. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues
  • Own the research and data analysis for complex projects; may lead various level complexity projects.
  • Collaborate with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes of moderate complexity, and understand business/customer impact. Including ongoing project reporting, communications and stakeholder reviews (this may also include financial validations and cost benefit analysis (CBA).
  • Utilize standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in process improvement approaches.
  • Drive projects and implements process changes in order to meet ongoing business objectives, following standard project management guidelines and procedures (i.e. pmp or six sigma)

If you have...

  • 2year + degree
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Project Manager (prefer PMP or Six Sigma certification, but not mandatory)
  • Reads/Writes/Speaks English and local language
  • Nice to have--- Knows HPE order management systems (Internal); understands order management order flows (order receipt through to invoicing – Supply chain knowledge helpful, but not required) and architecture (external)
  • Data analysis – able to review data, derive conclusions or actions and report out
  • Knowledgeable in eCommerce (nice to have: eInvoicing and web portal knowledge, EDI) – including B2B and B2Bi
  • Organized in high stress situations
  • Able to work with little direction (after trained)
  • Able to lead teams, not reporting to them
  • Developed problem- solving and analytical skills
  • broad knowledge of the end to end process of sales operations
  • demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Negotiation and Influencing skills
