About the Role:

As a Telematics Data Analyst, you have an amazing opportunity to shape the way we develop our products. We are looking for a strong data analyst who is interested in designing, developing and identifying data mining solutions that have direct impact on our product roadmap in the areas of vehicle telematics.

KeepTruckin captures enormous amounts of telematics data from our customers’ vehicles to enable them to track & improve the performance of their vehicles and drivers. The person in this role will need to work with multiple stakeholders to increase the reliability, accuracy and coverage of the captured telematics data across our entire customers’ fleet.

What You'll Do:

• Solve challenging problems related to vehicle telematics
• Provide technical direction through analysis and validation of captured telematics data from the vehicles
• Analyze data to identify patterns and correlations among the various data points
• Engage with product, embedded engineering and application developers to build & execute on a telematics data analytics roadmap which will enable us to enhance our fleet management product offerings

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency with SQL for data analysis; ability to write queries and understanding of database concepts.
• Experience designing scalable data pipeline with data transformations & aggregations for reporting and analytics use cases.
• Experience with programming languages like Python & Shell
• Ability to identify data correlations with statistical techniques
• Strong analytical problem solving skills along with a creative mind to invent & customize solutions when necessary
• Strong communication, collaboration & presentation skills
• Exposure to automotive communication protocols like ISO 14229, SAE J1979, SAE J1939 or ISO 27145 is a plus
