Introduction
As an accounting analyst at IBM you'll be a key player in all aspects of strategic payments planning. You will make significant contributions to high-profile operational initiatives as the business continues to grow globally.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Your role will be Intercompany Accounting Analyst for Cash & Goods, Inborder and Non Intergrated System Operations.
Your main responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly payment proposal for crossborder and inborder settlements according to Intercompany Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Execute accounting closing and post closing activities, such as gain/loss calculation and booking, variances analysis, audit requests, import and export accruals, etc...
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Intecompany accounts reconciliations in compliance with reconciliation guidance
- Investigate business issues and address them to counterpart, work with SME/Digital Squad Leader on process improvements and automation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• University education (Bachelor’s degree) – preferably in Economics (or relevant experience in Econimic field)
• Fluent English written and spoken
• MS Excel user (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP)
• Problem solving, logical thinking, analytical skills
• Good communication and organizational skills, team player

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1/2 years working experience in Finance/Accounting
• Advanced Excel user (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP)
