Overview:

As part of the Consumer Experience HUB at Lilly USA, LLC, the Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a field-based non-promotional role within Lilly Patient Services reporting directly to a US Regional Field Director. Field Reimbursement Managersareseen asstrong individual contributors displayingleadership skills and business impactwith peers and customers. FRMsare subject matter experts incompliantlyeducating healthcare provider(HCP)staffon Lilly Customer Support Programs (CSP) and patient-specific reimbursement and access needs. The FRMbuildsandmaintainsprofessionalrelationshipswith hcp staff in an assigned geography. FRMsmust work seamlessly and in coordination with all Lilly customer support services, specialty pharmacies, and other field teams whilesupporting patient access.

FRMs specific responsibilities include:

  • Demonstratingdeep knowledge in commercial and government reimbursement/access,as well asdeep payer market expertisein their region of the country
  • Compliantly communicating with internal stakeholders,specialty pharmacies,andcustomer support program personnel to navigate thepatientaccess and reimbursementexperience
  • Demonstrating strong problem-solving skillsrelated to complex patient access challenges across payers and specialty pharmacies
  • EducatingHCP staffon prior authorization requirements, coverage status, and payer appeals requirements, processes and timelines
  • Training HCPstaffoncustomer supportprogramsfor the Lilly Bio-Medicines portfolio
  • Condensingcomplex issues into simple solutions toimprove the customer experience
  • Educating office staff regardingpatient financial assistance and alternatefunding options for the uninsured and underinsured.
  • Displaying knowledgeof specialty pharmacy core services and connectivity
  • Leveraging expertiseand skills to improve competencies of peers

BasicQualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum three years of work experience in the following areas:
  • Patient Navigation
  • Payer
  • Reimbursement
  • Medical billing and coding
  • Specialty Pharmacy
  • Pharmaceutical Sales

Additional Skills/Preferences :

  • D emonstrated ability to conduct field-based customer support and education related to payer coverage and payment processes
  • Experience working withphysician practices,navigating patient assistance programs andsimilar pharmaceutical support programs
  • Understand HIPAA rules and regulations related to patient privacy
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Strong written and verbal communications as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets
  • Live within or 50 miles from assigned geography
