The Change Management and Adoption (CMA) team is part of the Global Technology Services (GTS) organization. The CMA team is responsible for developing the methodology, approach, and change management materials required to then partner with MF IT leadership and their local IT teams to drive the successful adoption of global technology solutions. The CMA team’s scope includes analyzing a MFs readiness to adopt new technologies and the execution of proven CMA tools and methodologies which include: leadership playbooks, a defined CMA approach, communication planning and execution, quick reference materials (FAQs/QRCs), short learning videos (e.g., BrainShark), intranet resource sites for sharing information and artifacts relevant to the initiative, risk impact assessments and associated mitigations, and progress tracking toward goals. The CMA also has a team dedicated to building and maintaining relationships with MF IT leadership to foster two-way communication and to identify and mitigate impediments to successfully adopting any given global technology. The scope of CMA stakeholders includes end users, internal IT, and the business team(s) receiving the technology solution for use in their day-to-day work.

The CMA Manager is responsible for executing and managing the CMA team’s activities for various complex global internal and external facing products/projects as well as managing/coordinating project activities with other team members.

CMA Managers work on complex projects, participate in and lead project planning and status meetings, identify technology adoption risks and mitigations, work with stakeholder leadership and teams, and provide overall project status updates to leadership as needed. CMA Managers also aid CMA Sr. Managers for large scale, complex projects as needed.

Work you'll do:
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the CMA’s tasks and activities across multiple projects, including status, release dates, issues/risks, member firm readiness & impact points, and overall adoption status to various stakeholders
  • Meet regularly with project teams to ensure the CMA’s involvement in project planning and to stay current with project scope and milestones
  • Partner with CMA’s Senior Manager leading respective program area to ensure appropriate knowledge sharing, and identify & mitigate roadblocks to success
  • Consult with cross-functional teams in the development, validation, and delivery of CMA materials to support the successful adoption of global technology solutions for various audience types (non-technical business teams, technical teams, system administrators, system integrators, and member firm IT leadership) which include communication plans, intranet product sites, project tracking, readiness checklists, quick reference guides, FAQs, stakeholder analysis, and other change management materials in partnership with program stakeholders
  • Manage and complete multiple concurrent assignments, according to CMA’s established standards and templates
  • Collaborate with member firm IT organizations to promote adoption of solutions, standards and processes
  • Consult with CMA’s team of regional MF IT leads to keep status of projects up-to-date, ensure action items for MF IT leads are document and resolved, and provide updates to leadership as needed.
  • Demonstrate contribution to meeting stakeholder commitments as evidenced by satisfactory or above ratings from project team members and peers
  • People management
  • Consult with cross functional team members on CMA approach and strategy
  • Promote teaming between CMA and other functional team members working on projects
  • Manage and mentor junior CMA team members allocated to your initiatives
  • Knowledge sharing/documentation
  • Actively contribute to existing GTS communication vehicles to promote CMA team activities across the respective initiatives we support
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement by contributing suggested practices, lessons learned, etc.
  • Develop an understanding of Deloitte organization and CMA established processes, standards and methodologies.
  • Demonstrate foundational understanding of member firm structure and needs

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or an acceptable amount of professional experience working in a matrixed global environment

Other: Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or an equivalent amount of professional experience working in a matrixed global environment

Years of Experience: 5-8

Other: 5-8 years’ experience in professional/client services capacity, emphasizing development/management skills in the following areas: communication, change management, documentation, learning, and general business analysis.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with enterprise application implementations in a global setting
  • Advanced understanding of tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, O365, SharePoint (2010 or 2016), Articulate, BrainShark, Adobe Captivate, HTML, Articulate, and Skype.

Other Qualifications

  • Advanced writing skills and the ability to synthesize system information and business processes into world class learning, communication, and presentation materials for a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Advanced understanding of change management principles
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision in a matrix environment
  • Ability to develop an understanding of business processes to bridge the business needs to the technical solution being implemented
  • Ability to understand the value of IT solutions within the context of Deloitte’s business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse cultures in a virtual environment
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and manage others
