About the job
The SAP Practice in Global Technology Services at IBM helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of IBM Cloud (and other main hyperscalers) and Managed services.
The SAP Client Solutions Executive (CSE) is responsible for the entire sell cycle for services agreements with Enterprise customers in Italy.
The CSE position requires experience in selling cloud and technology services in the SAP area. The CSE will develop and lead the execution of effective sales strategies to convince the clients of the value of IBM's proposal while providing clear differentiation over the competitors.
This includes establishing strong relationships with customers to help them and act as advisors in their journey to cloud supporting their digital transformation.
You have deep knowledge of SAP offerings and the sales strategies required to help customers and partners understand the proposition of SAP in Cloud with managed services.
As a member of the Hybrid Cloud Services team, you'll focus on customers with SAP workloads and you'll advocate for the innovative power of Multi Cloud and technology services.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in IaaS, and PaaS sales and/or consulting.
  • Experience with SAP applications and positioning, including S/4 HANA, ERP, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA.
  • Ability to speak and write in English.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise customers sales.
  • Experience working towards strategic goals.
  • Deep understanding of the SAP technology stack and deployment options in the cloud.
  • Experience with SAP Basis Component (BC)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, and strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to plan and execute a start to finish sales strategy.
  • Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage sales opportunities for SAP customers (tipically in Manufacturing, CPG and Retail industry) interested in SAP digital transformation leveraging IBM Cloud (and other hyperscaler) and Hybrid Cloud Services.
  • Collaborate in generating a business development plan to ensure engagement with large accounts.
  • Build a pipeline of customers within assigned region and/or verticals.
  • Ensure collaboration and engagement with technical teams
  • Work with business partners and SAP counterparts to drive demand
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers acting as a trusted advisor.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Main responsibilities in this role will include:
  • w ork ing to deals assigned to the sales team, prioritizing and set the pace in the proposal building
  • s ecur ing input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer and adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support and drive to the signature
  • c oordinat ing closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
