Business Analyst - Marketing/Data

Job Description

As Coinsquare continues to expand into the United States and across Canada, our team is looking to hire a Business Analyst. This is a new role joining Coinsquare's marketing team. The role provides an exciting opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders across the organization, while seeing the immense impact of your work on a daily basis.

What You'll Do :

• Proactively develop a deep knowledge of our business processes and product design
• Collaborate cross functionally with multiple stakeholders, including Marketing, Product, and Technology team members
• Perform detailed process analysis and document clear and concise requirements
• Analyze data, deliver results and investigate trends in order to provide insight to our management team and customers on projects or ongoing initiatives
• Conceptualize reporting by turning complex data into easy to understand visualizations
• Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the company on a daily basis
• Provide support to Head of Marketing and team on key initiatives

What You'll Bring :

• 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
• Digital commerce or SaaS business experience preferred; experience working in a company that grew from product launch a huge plus
• SQL proficiency required; query optimization and syntax knowledge preferred
• Solid written communication skills, with ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions
• Obsessed with data validation and finding data-driven insights
• Entrepreneurial drive who wants to come to work with an ownership mentality

Nice to Have :

• Python scripting
• Hubspot experience
• MetaBase experience
