We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join the Golden Capital equity team to research and develop quantitative investment strategies. The team sits within the WFAM Systematic Investment group, which manages over $30bn in quantitatively-driven strategies. The Golden team specializes in quantitative and quantamental equity investing. The successful candidate will be working alongside other experienced quantitative researchers and portfolio managers in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities for this role include, but may not be limited to:

  • Working as a key member of the investment team to refine and enhance our quantitative investment strategies
  • Researching and designing new quantitative investment strategies
  • Researching and designing new portfolio construction techniques
  • Designing research tools and methods for analyzing new data series and the efficacy of different systematic investment strategies
  • Writing and presenting technical papers about quantitative investment techniques

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of quantitative investment research experience


Desired Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 6+ years of quantitative investment research experience
  • Extensive equity quantitative research experience
  • Experience with research programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, Matlab
  • Exceptional quantitative, technical and analytical skills
  • Strong programming skills
  • Ability to communicate and present research findings and ideas
  • Track record of intellectual curiosity and research innovation
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
