Your Role and Responsibilities
What would be your responsibilities?
• Execute quality assurance activities for software product, including test preparation and test execution
• Understand customer expectations from functionality and quality point of view
• Create and review technical documentation
What do you need for your success?
• Knowledge of SW testing types (e.g. acceptance testing, smoke test, basic acceptance testing, ad-hoc testing, exploratory testing, functional and non-functional testing, stress test, etc.)
• Defect detection, reporting and its life cycle
• Understanding of the Software Development Life-cycle
• Some knowledge of QA tools
• Knowledge of automation tester frameworks
• Knowledge of script languages
Your Role and Responsibilities
Test automation developer/ test automation engineer, a software developers who design and write programs that run automatic tests on new or existing software – an essential part of the software development cycle. Will use automation frameworks (standardised guidelines) to build these programs on and write test scripts that do the testing.
What your daily tasks will look like?
• You will need to be passionate about Software Quality Assurance, capable of both manual testing and automated testing.
• Collaborate with BA to understand the requirements, develop test design, execute manual function test for newly created features
• Communicate Code Quality metrics to all stakeholders, work with developers to track and fix defects
• Perform smoke test for each release version, perform regression test as required
• Create the respective test automation scenarios for those manual tests; optimize and maintain history test scripts.
• Software Engineers in Test (SET)
• Responsible for UAT test automation scripts by sprint cycle by squad
• Responsible for sign off of all sprint tests created by squads
• Accountable for the execution of test cases and provide screenshots to end users for validation
• Creates defects in UAT as part of test execution
• Sizes test automation scenario effort
• Ability to develop test scripts
• Familiar with Git, GitHub and branching strategies
• Familiar with issue trackers and test management tools such as Jira
• Experience of at least 3+ years in testing
• Experience in Agile, working in paced agile environments that deliver regular
• Good written and verbal communication in English
